When researching magazine adverts these magazine adverts caught my eye as I like that the artist is on the front cover which instantly made the magazine advert catch my eye. I asked a few of my friends which magazine advert they preferred and why.
One of my friends said that they preferred the Jessie J advert as the image that is used they feel stands out as it almost makes you feel like she is watching you. She also said that she likes the colours that are used together as the black, white and gold go well together and make the poster stand out more.
Another friend that I asked said that she preferred the Lana Del Ray advert as she said that she likes the mix of blue and white colours that are used to make it stand out.
When I come to make the magazine adverts I will make sure that it stands out and the colours and fonts that are used are catchy and bright. I am also going to look into the different backgrounds that I may use as I think that the difference between having a picture in the background and just a plain background really stands out.
